The Shed

Was supposed to post 8/29 but never loaded:
Cleaning out the shed took 6 hours on Saturday, but it feels so good to be done! I just want to remember what once was and hopefully prevent the shed from looking like it did ever again (I know, probably wishful thinking).
We started to pull some stuff out and discovered a rodent had made a home on top of my Christmas decor. Shin went to work and left me to tackle the mess.
I didn't have the energy to go through all my Christmas stuff, but a cursory glance into the tubs looked like things were all okay.
This first wave of stuff outside didn't include the things on the shelf, which I was not looking forward to because I saw movement and heard rustling that let me know the rodent was still in the shed.
Here's the entry, and massive pile of pellets. We eventually saw the cutest little mouse and gave him the scare of his life. We got it all cleaned out, thankfully Shin returned and sealed the hole. So much nastiness.
Then came the good part. Husband built a new shelf out of some of the scrap wood! I love additional organization.
Everything got sorted, a ton of stuff was thrown away or set aside for recycle/donate. We believe we have exterminated our pest problem, know where our belongings are, and even fit in a work table that Shin has already made use of!
An exhausting, though satisfying 6 hours.
