Amazing Firsts

Noah played his first game with Shin! It's precious & I have video but I can't post it here unless I upload it to YouTube, so just trust me that it's adorable and recorded.

He also took a bath for the first time by himself. 

And went to the nursery at church. And has been sleeping through the night every night in his pack and play. Life is so good for this growing boy and his family. :-) 

We had a great weekend with my dad as well. Noah was a little unsure at first, but warmed right up to him. 

October is Upon Us!

Valerie had her wonderful, awesome 22nd bday which included a sushi & froyo celebration with shin, Noah, & I. Then a shopping spree & Mexican dinner with a couple of friends, Noah, and I.

This week Noah took a bath and splashed around! He usually just sits there and only interacts when I play with him, but this time he really enjoyed the water. Fun times ahead! He also has been sitting up unsupported for a lot longer. No more falling forward this week! Lastly, he spent his first night ever sleeping in a pack n play (in our room) instead of with us. It only lasted about an hour before he flipped over, fussed, and I rescued him before he wailed. But still, it was nice and weird going to sleep without a little boy next to me. Hoping he can last longer tonight but not minding when he needs me. 

Yay!

We survived Noah's first illness. It only lasted through 2 nights and he's been his usual happy self since yesterday. He actually wasn't unhappy for most of his illness, but since his breathing was impaired by snot, he struggled with eating and sleeping- 2 of his favorite things to do.

I forgot to mention in the last post, but he also had his first brief diaper rash the week prior. That cleared up beautifully and never caused him any pain. 

Also, this is the preciousness I miss out on while at school. 

I'm very blessed to take my grad classes on nights and weekends, but it sure is hard missing out on adorbs baby cuteness!

Very first snotty, sneezy, coughy cold. Overall happy despite congestion. 

Not pictured: first babysitter! Thanks to Kelsey, shin & I went to an event for my school while Val went to class. 

Also, Noah's starting to really notice Scooby and watch him closely. Will laugh at him now. :-)
