Hesitation

I'm pretty hesistant to make a second post. I know it's ridiculous, no one reads this. (Literally, I've only shown it to Shin and he wasn't even interested enough to read the first post). But anyway, we went to Montana. I wish I knew how to put a picture in. Let me see if I can figure out putting in a picture.
Holy cow. I did it. Here is the snow we saw.

Now I can't really figure out how to write around the picture. Oh well, I'm learning. Yay blog!

The First

So... I've begun a blog. This is a little strange and new for me. Honestly, it's a lot of things coming together. My friend, Jordan, has a really great blog. It's inspiring and I love knowing a little bit of what her life is like even though we live so far away. My friend & coworker, Melissa, has a blog which has chronicled her adoption process for her first and (soon-to-be) second child. Ashley, friend and former roommate, has a blog just to keep her sane. Andrew Jones & my pastor, Alan Cross, both have blogs that I love to read to find out what the heck is going on in the crazy world of Christianity.

The tipping point: my sister is in France. She's far, far away and living a mysterious lifestyle. She's not super communicative when she's stateside, so being abroad has made it even harder to know what she's up to. However, she sent an email out the other day that was hamazing. As she was writing it, she made several disclaimers about how long and boring it was. But NOBODY thought that! My mom and I talked about how we LOVED hearing about who she ate dinner with. Or eating baguettes (there's a lot of eating in France). Or just small, stupid stuff that we all think that no one cares about- but as family, I cared about every single detail.

Thus, my blog. I figure it will have musings about my marriage, my cat, my garden, pop culture, my faith. This is a lot of me, me, me- but hopefully my family and friends want to hear about me, and if you don't, just close the screen. :-) I find that to be the amazing thing about blogs. When I get tired of Jon Acuff, I go to a different site. So, when you get tired of me, go read Jon Acuff! And hopefully it won't really be all about me, but just this amazing life God is letting me live.

Alright, we'll see how this goes. Oh, and I know calling this the Jeongle gives you some ideas that it's going to be a pretty wild time. I hope at the very least, it's mildly interesing. And we do have a king of the Jeongle, but other than that- I just LOVE the wordplay. *nerd pants*
